# About your hotel

> The short text under your hotel's name on otel.direct — written by Journey from what you confirmed, approved by you word by word, and read by guests in their own language.

**About your hotel** is the short text guests read under your hotel's name on [your page on otel.direct](https://docs.recepai.ai/front-desk/travel-agent/your-page.md). Journey writes it from the facilities you confirmed; you read every word, change any of them, and approve it. Only an approved text is on your page. The section sits on **Travel Agent → Your page on otel.direct**.

***

## What is on the screen

The section shows one of these, depending on where your text stands:

| Where it stands | What you see |
| - | - |
| **Your facilities are not confirmed yet** | *Confirm your facilities first — Journey writes this from them*, and **Open Hotel facilities**. |
| **Nothing written yet** | **The language you write in**, then **Ask Journey to write it** and **Write it yourself**. |
| **Journey is writing** | The box says Journey is writing. A hotel with many training materials can take up to a minute and a half. |
| **A draft is waiting** | *Journey's draft · in* your language, in a box you can edit, with its length (for example *255 / 700*), **Approve** and **Write it again**. |
| **A text is approved** | The text, the line *Approved* with its day, its language and the number of languages it is translated into, and **Change**, **Write it again** and **Remove from page**. |
| **A new draft beside an approved text** | The approved text marked *on your page*, the new draft in the box, **Approve** (it replaces the text on your page) and **Keep the current text**. |

### On your page in other languages

Under an approved text, one row for each language of your page — the languages of your [Widget](https://docs.recepai.ai/ai-manager/widget.md), and English. Each row has the language's name, a word for where its text comes from, and the text itself:

| Word | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Translated by Journey** | Journey's translation of your approved text. |
| **Your wording** | Your own text in that language. |
| **Written for your earlier text** | Your own text in that language, written before you approved the text you have now. Guests read a new translation until you update it. |
| **Translating…** | A translation is on its way; the screen fills in by itself. |
| **Not translated yet** | Nothing in this language yet. |

A row's buttons: **Change** — or **Write it yourself** when there is nothing yet — and, where the text is yours, **Use Journey's translation**. **Translate again**, above the rows, appears when a language has no translation.

## What you do here

**1. Choose the language you write in, then ask Journey**

Press **Ask Journey to write it**. The draft comes back in the box. Or press **Write it yourself** and write it from scratch.

**2. Read every word and change any of them**

The text is yours once you approve it. Keep it between 20 and 700 characters. A web address, an e-mail or a phone number does not belong in it — your page has its own doors for those, and the screen says so if one is there.

**3. Press Approve**

Your page shows the text, and Journey translates it into your page's other languages.

**4. Not quite right? Press Write it again**

Tell Journey what to change in the box that opens — *shorter*, *warmer*, *more about the view* — and press **Write it again**. Your approved text stays on your page until you approve the new draft. **Keep the current text** lets a draft go.

**5. Change a translation**

Press **Change** on a language's row, edit the text and press **Save**. Keep every number, price and currency exactly as your approved text writes them: if one is missing or new, the screen says which and nothing is saved.

**6. Update a text written for your earlier text**

On a row marked **Written for your earlier text**, press **Change**: the box opens on your earlier words — bring them up to date and **Save**. Or press **Use Journey's translation**.

**7. Translate what is missing**

Press **Translate again**. Journey translates your approved text into every language without a translation. Your own wording in a language is left as it is.

**8. Take the text off your page**

Press **Remove from page**, then **Remove it**.

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Use Journey's translation replaces your own wording** in that language. The screen asks first — **Keep mine** leaves your text as it is.

## What happens next

* **When you approve a text**, your page shows it within a few minutes. The translations follow by themselves while the section shows *Translating into …*; a language that could not be translated just now is said, with **Translate again**.
* **Guests in another language** read the translation, marked *Approved by the hotel · Translated from* your language, with the original one tap away. Your own wording in a language is shown the same way.
* **When you approve a new text**, Journey translates it again. Your own wordings stay, marked *Written for your earlier text*, and guests read a new translation in those languages until you update yours.
* **When you remove the text**, your page shows no text about your hotel. You can ask Journey to write a new one, or write one yourself, at any time.
* **Without edit access** to the reservations setup you read the approved text and its translations, and have no buttons.
