# Hotel facilities

> What guests can use at your hotel, what you arrange for them and your house rules — your receptionist answers from them and, if your hotel sells online, your page on otel.direct shows them.

**Hotel facilities** is where you say what guests can use at your hotel, what you can arrange for them, and your house rules. Your receptionist answers guests from what you keep here, and if your hotel sells online, your page on otel.direct shows it — anything you leave out is simply not mentioned, never shown as missing. On otel.direct, confirming it once is needed before you can publish [your page](https://docs.recepai.ai/front-desk/travel-agent/your-page.md). The menu entry sits under **Settings**, right below **Photos**, and every hotel has it.

## What is on the screen

The title carries a chip — **Confirmed** or **Not confirmed yet**.

### What guests can use

The facilities guests look for most, each one a button you tick. **Show all … facilities** opens the full list, grouped. Tick only what every guest can use — whether a room has something is said on its own room page.

Journey can read your training materials and propose what they say: **Ask Journey to look** (on a page you have confirmed, **Look again**). The facilities it finds come back ticked, each with the sentence it found it in, under *Journey found … in your training materials. Are they right?* — and the rest of the list stays under **Anything else?**. Reading can take up to a minute and a half for a hotel with many materials. Nothing Journey proposes is saved until you save.

### Say a little more

For a facility guests ask about — whether Wi-Fi or parking costs extra, where the pool is — a small question beside it. Guests hear or read your answer beside the facility. **Not said** gives just its name: nothing ever says *free* on its own.

### Things you arrange for guests

Short names, in the language you write in, for what you can arrange: a balloon tour, a valley walk, a cooking class. **Add one** opens a box; **Add** puts the name on the list, and each name can be removed. Your receptionist tells guests about them when they ask; on your page on otel.direct, each one is a button that asks Journey for the details, so a guest can book it in the chat. Nothing here says *included*.

### House rules

**Check-out until** and **Pets** — what your receptionist tells guests, and what your page on otel.direct shows under *Good to know*. A rule left as *Not said yet* is not said. If your hotel sells online, the check-in time comes from **Settings → Payments**, and the section links there.

### Save facilities

One button saves the whole screen.

## What you do here

**1. Press Ask Journey to look**

Optional, and a good start: Journey reads your training materials and ticks what they say, each with its sentence. Read them and untick anything that is not right.

**2. Tick what every guest can use**

Press a facility to tick or untick it. **Show all … facilities** opens the full list.

**3. Say a little more where guests ask**

Answer the small questions under **Say a little more**, or leave them as **Not said**.

**4. List the things you arrange**

Press **Add one**, type a short name and press **Add**.

**5. Set your house rules**

Choose until when guests check out, and whether pets are welcome.

**6. Press Save facilities**

The chip turns to **Confirmed** — and if your hotel sells online, the **Hotel facilities** line on Your page is done.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If someone else saved this screen while you were working on it, nothing of yours is saved, and **Reload the facilities** loads what they saved.

## What happens next

* **If your hotel sells online, guests see your facilities, your arranged things and your house rules** on your page on otel.direct within a few minutes — the most popular facilities first, with your own words beside them, and the rest one tap away.
* **On your page, a guest who taps something you arrange** opens the chat with Journey, who answers about it.
* **Your receptionist answers guests from what you confirm here** — in the chat, on WhatsApp and on the phone. When you save a change, the chat has it at once; your phone receptionist is updated with it, and if it could not be updated yet, the save says so — press **Try again** in that message.
* **On otel.direct, Journey writes the text about your hotel from what you confirm here** — see [About your hotel](https://docs.recepai.ai/front-desk/travel-agent/your-page.md#about-your-hotel).
* **Who can open it:** anyone with settings access — the people who can open the hotel's other settings pages, such as **Photos** or **Request settings**. Without edit access you see the screen and cannot change it.
